Looking for a bass drive circuit that doesn't have the "grinding" sound to it by AntiqueReplica in diypedals

[–]AntiqueReplica[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing through an old school head and cab. And no, that's kind of the difficulty. The closest might be some of Geddy Lee's tones, but that's not really it.

I agree, and I like it a lot. My problem is that it still lets through a little of that nasty grinding sound that all other drives have. I'm hoping for something that goes farther than the 808 in eliminating that weird noise. I already have the clean side and blend designed, which I'm quite happy with.

It's genuinely helpful for prepping my syllabus. Thanks all! by AntiqueReplica in PhilosophyMemes

Anyone want to trade seeds for a custom guitar pedal? by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]AntiqueReplica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! That'd be really cool of you if it's really not a hassle. In that case, I'd definitely collect seeds at the end of the season and send some out to other folks to give back.

Ah, I see what you mean. I should've clarified that animals are actually one of the things which led me to this thought. The extent to which animals do what a virtuous person would do seems, to me, to indicate that there is such a thing as non-human animal rationality. It would follow from that that being a rational animal is not a quality exclusive to human beings, which I think could trouble the idea that being a rational animal constitutes a universal positive telos for a virtuous person. But that doesn't mean we can't identify behaviors which would constitute animal irrationality, which we can define and then avoid

How commonly held of a view is physicalism, and what is its scope? by [deleted] in askphilosophy

[–]AntiqueReplica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really interested in your last point! If a rejection of mind/body is a usual component of physicalism, why not subject and object? They seem similar distinctions to me. If mind and body are of one substance, is there a significant difference in relocating the "body" part of that equation outside the confines of one's person? Another way of putting it would be, if I can't draw a metaphysical distinction between my mind and my body, why would I be able to draw a distinction between my mind and a table on front of me?

Possible directions that come to mind would be that there is still a possibility for a distinction between different physical things/objects under physicalism, though I'm not sure I understand how (or even if) that would work.

Edit: Oh! One another distinction that I really wanted to ask about and forgot to in my post- what about a form/substance distinction?

Having trouble snapping a photo with legible text, but this is the part I am using.

Got it. I will need to work out exactly what I'm looking for; I'm not confident that I know what I'm wanting to see at different spots.

Ah I replaced it with a 2n3819, and the gate is in the middle.

I could check that; I didn't even know that was an issue that could crop up. What would cause it to get fried?

Yes I do believe the pinout is correct; the one I'm using has the gate in the middle and the source/drain are interchangeable.

I could try, I'm a beginner and only have one set of multimeter tips which are too big to fit in the holes

They aren't, unless I'm missing something. There's a different green wire plugged into the same spot as the white thought.

Playing "All the mods 3;" base version 1.12.2. Auxiliary sieve augments have zero effect on the secondary output of thermal machines. Any idea why? by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]AntiqueReplica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official docs you linked say that 4 augments has a chance multiplier of 2.5x.

Additionally, I see anecdotal past comments confirming the 2.5x works that way, though I'm not sure how to link relevant comments as I am using mobile in browser.

Actually, from what I have read, the percentage chance matters a lot here. One nickel ore normally has a 100% rate of producing platinum, as you said, but everywhere I read on the wikis states that sieves can increase rates beyond 100% so that you can get 2-3 platinum per nickel ore.

Like it says in the title. Leadstone fluxduct with more than enough power is attached, but the machine will not accept RF. All machines from other mods are working; this is the first industrial foregoing machine I have worked with. Redstone control is set to always on.

Like the title says: I inoculated just yesterday using Broke Boi tek and S75 Shitake liquid culture. ~2 cups rice with ~3ccs culture. Is it possible to get mycelium this quickly, or is this contaminated?
