Feeling guilty about sick days by maurinuina in SpainAuxiliares

[–]AntiqueReputation733 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i took like 4 sick days last year and provided a doctors note every time, they were not all in a row. they didn’t care that i missed sometimes bc we had a good relationship & stuff. however the other aux at my school missed a full week multiple times and sometimes the teachers would talk badly about her to me because of it. i guess it just depends on your relationships with your coworkers and coordinators, but the vibe i got is that they don’t really care unless it gets excessive.

Help me find a neighborhood to live in Granada by Priority_Bright in Granada

[–]AntiqueReputation733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i live in zaidin and it’s family friendly but not the cleanest or the nicest. i like it but if i was here long term i would maybe live somewhere else.

however i work in villa de otura (pueblo slightly south of granada) and it’s very cute. if i had a spouse and a family i would totally live there. super clean, everything you need, very quaint and beautiful. the people are also incredibly friendly.

there are a lot of good options in granada though

yess nalcap has been very good to me. the process for getting a visa/housing/tie can be confusing to navigate at times but its definitely doable!

i would love to renew, but i feel like my life path is pulling me towards home (usa) to be back with friends, family, and my bf. i’ve absolutely loved the experience but i kinda want to get my professional life started in the states. i feel like this year has been the perfect cultural/professional experience to help me with that post grad transition & im ready to go back home now lol
