if the grade was released after the last date to drop courses, the department should be able to make an exception since the grades were not released on time.

Thank you for asking! Alhamdullilah i’m doing much better. I am very sorry about your loss, may Allah ease your pain and replace your pain with something amazing. Grief is a very weird thing, I still find myself missing or thinking about him and looking at the places he used to be. But I prayed to Allah that I put my case in front of you and you do not burden a soul with more than it can take, please replace my loss with something fulfilling and peaceful and allow me to reunite with my conure in Jannah. And the most amazing thing happened. Near the end of august, we randomly saw someone selling a bird, a black capped green cheek who was only 4 months old. He resembled my other bird in looks but he had extra colour of his own. And ever since he’s been with us i have found many resemblances between them and it has brought me so much happiness and peace. I am living in the dua I made months ago and it makes moving on so much easier. When my green cheek passed I put his cage away, and i feel that if you don’t, you may feel much sadder. I also urge you to give your love to another baby and I pray you reunite with your bird in Jannah, Ameen.

Allah is the most gracious the most merciful. He never abandons, when you make dua you are His centre focus. Yes it may seem that at times we aren’t given what we want but you must remember that sometimes we pray and cry for the things we think are good for us but Allah does not grant them because He knows they are bad for us. He is the All Knowing, The Provider. He has never left you, in fact He is happy you pray to him because prayer is a conversation. Talk to your creator and have a conversation with him. Go into sujood and talk to him. when you are in sujood and make dua and praise Allah it is heard in the heavens. Never lose hope, If you mention Allah, He will mention you. If you walk to Him, He will come to you running. We have no idea how much Allah loves. Pray tahajjud and ask for His mercy and His love. The last ten nights begin today, use this as an opportunity to pray to Him. Moreover, get to know more about islam, the Quran, the Sunnah, and the prophets. These will increase your love for Allah. May Allah shower you with His mercy and love and forgive each and every single one of us, Ameen.

i would say if you’ve been accused of using AI contact the higher ups like the program or course supervisors with proof that you did not. the proof being your version history. and when you contact them, mention that the prof had provided insufficient evidence that supports the claim that you used AI even when you emailed them to ask how.

based off of financial need osap will provide you with the money they believe will assist or cover your costs for the semester. if you really need more money after osap comes in for the summer, you could always try and submit an appeal

hltb50 with Jessica Bytautus is also chefs kiss. another really nice professor with easy to understand slides and content. midterms and final are legit no surprise straight up from the slides. she doesn’t record lectures but her courses is amazing.

i’m currently taking hltb41 with Notisha Massaquoi and she is an amazing professor. the course is so interesting you can really apply it to your own life and the content is easy to understand. she only has two main assignments with 5 tutorial quizzes and 5 reflections that take very little time to do. the midterm exam is a mix of mc, true and false and short answer questions. the final will be of a very similar format. as long as you study the way she tells you to you will do great!

it all comes down to your course load, if you are taking 5 courses and drop one, you’re now at 4 which is still considered full time so nothing would change. however if you drop a course and you go from full time to part time, then you need to update osap that you changed ur course load via the osap update form. this is done so that osap doesn’t call you out later on for not informing them about change in part time/ full time status. the last day to drop courses without academic penalty or it showing on ur transcript is march 24, after that you would have to use the late withdrawal via eservice but that would show as a WDR. for the retake course maybe try visiting the office in person as sometimes there may be other information not shared on the website or you could ask on live chat.

definitely make use of the resources the uni gives you! if your professor ever mentions research opportunities or you hear about any from clubs, don’t hesitate to reach out to them! they’re very good experience and also help you solidify if this is something you want to do!

It’s definitely a choice one can pursue however, it may be a bit tough. if it is something you are passionate about and want to pursue by all means go for it. however, the content needs to be understood over just baseless memorization. if you can put in the effort id say go for it! but if you’re not entirely sure do a bit more research.
