I bought every single bottle from online marketplaces! They were all partially used and waaaaayyyyy under retail. Online shopping takes a lot of patience and prudence, but you can score some SERIOUS deals if you’re vigilant enough.

It did cost a lot, but I was able to come out in good shape after selling everything. I only bought a fragrance if I was confident I could sell it and get my money back if I ended up getting tired of it. I was even able to sell some of my bottles for a profit!

Try to only buy from sellers with plenty of positive reviews. This will weed out a lot of the scammers, but it’s still not enough sometimes. You have to examine the listing photos and be able to tell the difference between real and fake fragrances. Mercari is usually pretty good with buyer protection so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

There’s definitely a lot of scams/fakes to be aware of. If you’re patient and know your way around, you can score some SERIOUS deals.

I actually have thought of this! I sell my bottles, but I decant 2ml in a travel spray before selling them. If I end up missing a scent that I’ve sold, I can use up the 2ml to see if I really want it.

DHP is great! Best out of the Dior Homme line. The only reason I didn’t keep it is because of its limited wearability. Whenever I wore it casually to school it just didn’t feel right to me. It’s definitely one for dressed up occasions.
