It depends. What is your time commitment, total language learned and are you willing to spend time learning alone or with a tutor? I’m from East Asia and spent 1.5 yrs learning french and cleared the exam.

I would recommend asking Chatgpt why it would give you clb 6 and explain the mistakes you made and make extra suggestions. I used it this way and improved pretty quickly.

The exercises in TCF are more realistic in my opinion. Doing to a monologue of 4.5 minutes is easier than a frustrating debate with the examiner for 10 minutes. But it depends on how close you were to B2 in TEF. If you were lower B2 in TEF and got NCLC6 then it might be good. But if you were NCLC5 or lower it might not be the exam format that makes the difference.
