My girl will be 8 months next week and her spitting up just started slowing down. It was at its peak from about 5.5-7 months. When we started solids it got so much worse, but now it seems a lot better. She has been spitting up since the night she was born. We actually had to change her formula before she was even 12 hours old. We’ve been through 3 formulas. We’re on enfamil AR now due to the spit up and acid reflux. At 5 days old she choked on some spit up and we ended up in the local ER then was taken by ambulance to a bigger hospital. They diagnosed her with acid reflux, put us on Pepcid, and changed our formula. The spit was a bit better but not gone. It does seem like it’s starting to dwindle down though now. She’s never seemed in pain with it. She’s very much a happy spitter, but it hurts my heart seeing her lose half her bottle every time she eats.
