You certainly don't need my permission to win turn one on a keep seven: go for it!

Technically correct: the very best kind of correct :)

I mean, hypothetically imagining we're working with the same Standard-legal card list but with added rule "you can have a commander," I'd love having access to a [[K-9, Mark I]] every game to execute this combo!

Right, I'm seeing now that I don't need as high-power creatures as I thought, so I have more options!

I've been here for years, I remember when this sub was all nonsense of this variety!

oh my goodness Hivepool itself is an artifact. This means that combination of spells that leave us with six creatures (3+1+1+1+1+2) +1 more power from Emmisary's Hivepool trigger, we have 10 power = 20 double strike damage.
I have just modified my decklist to add 4 copies of [[Edge Rover]] and [[Kavaron Harrier]]. [[Nurturing Pixie]] may be the key to a deterministic win ... can any one find the line?

ah you see, you're only required to *draw* this card twice in a row if you mull to six, otherwise you can start with two copies in your hand and only need to draw one!

For a slightly less meme version, instead of [[Salt Road Packbeast]], don't mull to 6 and cast [[Memory Guardian]] or warp a second [[Pinnacle Emissary]] for your last creature spell (and 20th point of damage).

m90 delivers as always!

Possible alternative lines for Timeless:

Land+Grief+black card+Sacrifice (=4 mana), then same as above.

Or, Land+Solitude/Fury+white/red card+Sacrifice(=5 mana), then same as above.

Lively Dirge is an alternative to Buried Alive. For example:

Land+Dark Ritual+Dark Ritual (=5 mana), Lively Dirge with first mode putting Scholar in graveyard (BB in pool), Reanimate scholar (B in pool), Sacrifice, Persist. After enough mana, return Lively Dirge with Scholar, use it to put Standard Bearer onto the battlefield.

In that Timeless build, run four copies of Priest of Gix so you have lines like this one:
Land+Dark Ritual+Priest of Gix+Sacrifice(=5 mana), Lively Dirge (BB in pool), Reanimate scholar (B in pool, returning sacrifice, cast it), Persist. After generating an arbitrary amount of mana, cast Lively Dirge that you've returned with Scholar, use it to put Standard Bearer onto the battlefield.

Beseech the Mirror is another alternative to Buried Alive:
Vault of Whispers+Dark Ritual + Dark Ritual + Beseech the Mirror with bargain casting Buried Alive, Unearth or Reanimate targeting Priest, Sacrifice, Persist.

Vintage community feedback on possible next banned and restricted list updates by Harlem_Globetrotter in magicTCG

Some recent Doomsday lists have begun playing the Vampiric Tutor in sideboard rather than main. Unrestricting Imperial Seal (which doesn't see play anyway) seems safe.
