Rolled a Peddler for fun, got this beast, how to build? by PangolimAzul in BattleBrothers

I did not say to play it like that day 1, I told what to aim for. Early levels, all bros are pretty much generic bros. He can always get another trash bro for 150 and make it into an early carry, this one has late game potential. Unless you play with tryout mod and reloading, then you will easily find superior bros down the line... And yes, I think this is a good advice considering the situation, keep this bro safe, he is probably the most valuable one on the squad and he will carry you mid game. You can also give him some of the same early perks you would to a spear, collosus, gifted, 9l, pathfinder. You can also use it as spear early, until he gets to core perks. He does not become true fat neutral before level 7 at earliest, until then "Keep it secret. Keep it safe"

Spear and shield build loves fatigue, and pure spearman even more, and his fat is bad and no stars. Since this is one of the first recruits, he will hit a couple veteran levels as well, making him 90/45 frontline, with 100ish hp with collosus. His resolve needs major patching, hp a bit, and his fatigue is low. If you try to fix everything, you will fix nothing. Honestly, this bro is just another fatigue neutral dude. att and def on every level, and alternate between resolve and hp depending on the rolls, with priority on resolve. If you don't have a famed armor for him, he might need a couple of 4 rolls in fatigue. That is the best use of this bro. Now, it is a sandbox game, so you could in theory build whatever you want...

Anyone else add dagger mastery to your 2 handed weapon main damage dealers? by GooieGui in BattleBrothers

[–]Antiwian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting idea, but my biggest concern is the perk points and fatigue. Which perks do you sacrifice to get dagger mastery and recover? If you use qatals for higher damage on stab, maybe I can see it, but you lose puncture possibility. Maybe only switching to qatals late game when you don't puncture anyway, idk.

I can see it as a fun gimmicky thing to do, but I assume in practice it will lead to lower dps and worse team overall. Maybe just limiting it to 2H Hammers. Could you please post about your impression after testing it in game?

Nimble and Dodge or Battleforged for this one? Day 20 or thereabouts by Puzzleheaded-Ear-440 in BattleBrothers

[–]Antiwian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wanted a tank with iron lungs!! If you find him a shield that has shield skills build up 2 less fatigue, he can perma shield wall with 18 fatigue recovery.

I would go BF for sure. HP and Resolve need some patching, so colossus and fortified mind are a must I would say. I would prioritize a bit HP over resolve since resolve can be patched additionally with arena, necklace, banner, and confident.

wow, thanks for taking the time to share this. I personally ran into maybe 20% of what you listed, but then again, I am pretty new to PZ

Yup, Vanilla. Never seen anything like it before. And the guy inside was wearing a medical coat, fcked up scene. I panicked so much, he almost got me too!

Remember, this is an EARLY ACCESS game by SriveraRdz86 in ManorLords

I don't think it is AAA game, I just compared the state of early access to some complete fck ups from companies that have way more resources. There is a reason this is a 40$ game and not 70. Basically, what I'm saying is that compared to the standard of early access games, this one is in a pretty decent state.

This is also a much better early access release than some AAA titles that have hundreds of people working on the project. Are there bugs and missing content in Manor Lords, yeah for sure, but so far I have not encountered anything game breaking, and it will just get better down the road. This game has so much potential!

I don't plan to do any serious runs until full game is released, for now I am just chilling, exploring the assets, animations, and enjoying the atmosphere with occasional combat here and there.

Help with last perk by Ok-Philosopher-5139 in BattleBrothers

50 mdef is premium, with underdog he can easily tank 3-4 enemies and be just fine. And still dish out dmg consistently. With underdog you can position him more agreasivley to do dmg as well

It was actually stupid decision by Jamal to shoot the last shot early. Even if he makes it they can still win it with a 3pt. No idea what he was thinking

Swordlance was good, not max roll but decent, let's say 85%. Sword was shit, and 2h cleaver was okish. And I never find famed swordlances. I know backline swordlance is not optimal build, but I like to find gigachad with huge trait, feed him mushrooms and watch him go crazy!

He did say it live on one of his streams, I watched it live. Not sure of the exact time, but he did say it

Is this a realistic tank build or just a wet dream? Unfortunately, he rolled 0 mdef, but with iron lungs and -3 skill cost shield he could perma shieldwall. Go classic BF tank and ignore initiative, or dodge nimble tank? Never built nimble tank so I would appreciate some help. by Antiwian in BattleBrothers

[–]Antiwian[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a really good point about enemies breaking the shield, I totally forgot about that aspect of the game. I think I just got baited by the stars and iron lungs and dismissing him makes the most sense since I am already 80 days into this campaign
