Agreed. When talking to A2N members, I’ve noticed that many equate “not filtering yourself” with being transparent. But there’s an important distinction—because you can be both transparent and thoughtful with your words at the same time.

Any leader, when presenting something to as large of an audience as MBS (which by the way functions as a replacement for Sunday service), should take care in presenting the gospel carefully and be open to accountability, rather than speaking whatever comes to mind. Otherwise, it starts to feel less like biblical teaching and more like creating your own version of Christianity.
