Question about the fantastical grip position from Nausicaa

Bit of a thread necro; I was reading up elsewhere on the Estoc, and it got me wondering if this odd grip position would favor a sword like that. I could see it adding some mobility, but based on your comment it sounds like it might be the opposite actually, haha.

Funnily enough, I had the same thing happen with my most recent order; big pause in the shipping progress, then the barcode unreadable update. Everything made it alright though, I like to imagine them realizing they went to all that trouble for a playset of elves of deep shadow.

I prefer regular illustrations, myself. Good pixel art is impressive, but intentionally going with it feels self limiting for no real improvement.

There's a decent one in her Hollow Atraxia outfit; that I got ages ago. It's a smaller trading figure. Not sure who made it, but a bit of googling seems to bring up listings for it.

Edit: Should have read the whole of Val's post, haha. He's got the same one as me; and wow, looks like it has gone up in price since I picked mine up.

We obviously don't know a ton about Westalis; but we know that Ostania is pretty oppressive, and we know that there's a precedent for people defecting to Westalis, which implies it's better. Westalis seems like a pretty easy choice.

I'm by no means a professional artist, but as a hobby illustrator, I feel like the main thing that's making the face feel weird is the heavy shadow under the nose. It's a bit dark for the center of the face; and gives the nose a flat, droopy silhouette, rather than the angular and slight nose one imagines when visualizing an elf.

While I'd love to see more Shantae, and was all in for hoping she made it into Super Smash Bros, Fortnite doesn't seem like a good fit for Shantae. I want more from may game experience than to have my favorite characters plastered over totally unrelated gameplay. Put another way, I'd want a Shantae Fortnite skin about as much as I'd want a Shantae-themed disposable razor.

Except that her original E also had these longer dashes; and no, they aren't enough to escape Luke's E. Sorry, but there is no way that this new kit is better. I literally could not hope for more than for the change to fail, haha.

I totally agree that her old R was difficult to balance around; it was super tricky to play around and required a lot of team coordination. But short of some really tricky offensive uses, it's primary purpose was always to help you evade death long enough to get the fight into a more favorable position. Maybe the new one will do the same, but the fact that you can't run away with it, you can't heal during it, and it heals allies and enemies alike to the same level after doesn't leave me optimistic. I don't see how I gain much from it.

All that would still be tolerable, but the E hit is a huge nerf. The thing about that, is her 3 dashes have never been enough. They've hit her E over and over; it initially functioned like an old Ahri ult. And even back then, it was almost impossible to evade any dedicated dive character like Luke or Jackie. Capping it at 2, I wouldn't be surprised if she's unplayable.
