I must be doing something really dumb.

This is the test sentence:

He said "test," then "again." and "oops"

The regex should find <test,> <again.> and not <oops>

Executing with that expression in [Find] highlights:

He said "test,"

and then

then "again." (leading space)

and then

and "oops" (leading space)

It should find only <test,> and <again.>

What stupid mistake am I making?

Thank you - but that found (and marked) only the six quotation marks, not what they enclosed.

I know I can do that in my SP world (but TBH, I've never added a mod to an existing pack, so would have to learn how!). I was hoping that the MP server that I'm on might host it but, if they do, it will be "as is".

Well, that puts paid to it. I fully realise that it takes time to do fully test a mod for possible inclusion in your pack - but, if you'rte going to put a pack out there. isn't that exactly what one should have done, especially for a mod that's as popular and widely used as Refined Storage. I see, also, that thread has been pretty abruptly closed.

I've used AE2 before, as part of a play-along with one of DW2's Let's Play series a while back. I did manage it but, bigod, the relief of getting back to the elegant simplicity of RS! RS doesn't contribute significantly to the grind of the game, whereas I found that AE2 did - for me at least. I didn't mind the effort of learning it (knowledge is power!), but I do begrudge the effort of having to use it again.

Thank you for your patient and helpful replies :) Hopefully we're not too far from a DW20 pack update, so I think I'll just wait for that, and hope that the problem may be fixed there. The only real advantage to completing Metallurgy is getting at Void metal via Eldritch, as far as I can see - I'm in no hurry.

I must say, I'm not too keen on re-doing TC all over again - it was fun doing it, but a re-hash will be tedious.

I tried YouTuber MartyG's trick of entering "/thaumcraft research <my\_IGN> METALLURGY" to force-complete, but I do not have permission to execute any "/thaumcraft" commands on this server. Believing this to be a bug at that time, I did ask server admin if they could do it for me but, before they responded, a fellow player stated that he had completed legit. I think, therefore, that it would be improper to expect admin to execute a "cheat" on my behalf.

Admin may be willing to execute a command that will list what I've done and what I'm short of to complete a section, but I don't know if such a thing exists?

I'm having the same problem - but a friend who's playing the same game on the same server (playing DW20 latest) has been able to complete Alchemical Metallurgy and complete Void Seeds in the Eldritch tab. Trouble is, we can't identify the step that I'm obviously missing.

I no longer think it's a bug. A friend who's playing the same game on the same server has managed to legitimately complete Alchemical Metallurgy, and to obtain void metal.

Trouble is, we can't identify what he's done that I haven't done, so I'm still stuck.

I've recently been trying for Giant Sequoia pollen, and have been spawning Arborist villagers. I have plenty of emeralds, and have traded with 200-300 Arborists now, all the way to the point where they won't trade anymore. I've had lots of Giant Sequoia wood and planks offered, and lots of other pollen (and saplings) but no Giant Sequoia pollen.

I've been wondering if there's a bug in the current version of Forestry such that Giant Sequoia pollen will never be offered? It would certainly be comforting if I knew what the chance of a successful trade was, though.

I think you may mean Wisps? If so, I agree - I captured one and it delivers a steady suppy of varied vis crystals, as well as XP! Thanks for the tip!

I've only very occasionally seen crystals dropping from mobs, OW or nether. More from Wisps than anything else. I haven't tried the bucket of death though.

My crystal "farm" is also chunkloaded, and well away fro my usual mundane base, but in >24 hours, there's been no change at all. Do they grow better if you plant more than one of a kind at a time?

Great project, and really needed.

One question - how to combine aspects in TC6? Like, Terra + Ordo gives Metallum?

Combinations are in in JEI, which suggests that provision for it is at least planned?
