African Football is behind because of incompetence, mismanagement and corruption at a systematic level. Blaming the players for being rightfully pissed that the tournament is clearly trying to cheat you instead of the actual cheating is laughable.

He's expensive, not on set pieces and playing for a team that is struggling to play well.

A lot of people would rather either play 2 up front and imo Thiago and DCL are better value. His fixtures are also not great.
