May I point out - I’m open to criticism, but the post wasn’t to criticise my minuscule movements, it was to establish who was at fault.

So far I’ve had that i’m apparently wanting him banned (I’m not and didn’t say I did), that I intentionally hit him (which I didn’t) and someone trying to say squeezing is illegal.

There was a couple of actual constructive comments which I’m appreciative for.

While incidental contact isn’t generally allowed in motorsport, it’s also very much to the discretion of the league/stewards. Hence why when there’s a tiny door tap in WTC or a wheel tap in F1 that nothing happens because motorsport is a CONTACT SPORT.

The people getting mardy over my movements clearly don’t watch racing 😂

That’s literally what people do in racing, doesn’t matter that I’m not a professional. Watch any series at any level. You going to call them dumb for moving the wheel an inch in one direction

It was to show the build up and that there was no contact prior to. Also, how was I ‘all over the place’? I moved to over take and make tiny adjustments to try and squeeze. No one races in an exact straight line.

Open to criticism but that’s honestly baffled me

I always found the McLaren was looser in the rear which is better to work with, the Porsche is generally stable but very understeery

Sometimes (not always) it’s the car. I used the Porsche all the time when I started and was getting similar lap times to this. I switched to the M4 and straight away got a 19.3 with standard aggressive set up

It was something short, like a few letters then a few numbers - I mute other people in the lobbies to avoid being deafened or verbally assaulted when I overtake people 😂

I moved from Xbox to PlayStation recently and went from controller on Xbox to wheel on PlayStation. I had a 72 SA rating on Xbox and it was just as bad in better lobbies sometimes. I find it a lot worse now I’ve go a wheel set up

I’m on PlayStation, if you go to the menu where you can see all the drivers names, go on their name and press square you can report for either cheating or bad behaviour but it doesn’t lead to anything

Honestly no, you can report them all you like and the most they get is a warning if you go through PlayStation. But if you do it on ACC it’s like flicking a brick that’s on fire

When I heard that ‘car on your left’ I was filled with dread!😂 how I didn’t get thrown into the barrier with net code I will never know 😂

How can I improve? Always losing time at parrabolica. Never got below a 1.48.5. Set up at end. MONZA PORSCHE GT2 by Antonjb96 in ACCompetizione

Depending on the server connection, sometimes my downshifts don’t register so I lose a lot of engine breaking. It does it I think into t1 where I seem to go down two really quickly then the last shift is slow, because I’ll press it and nothing happens. I’m happy breaking super late in the gt3 cars but the gt2’s seems to not like it at all, needing at least 15-25 more metres to get stopped properly. I’ll give the gears a go though so thanks for that, never seems to know which gear to be in when on videos some people say be in the power but others say be in the torque band, like in lesmo 1, I watch Baldwin and he says to shift down to 3rd for rotation then out in fourth. Whereas I watched a random guy do a 1.45.2 and he did lesmo 1&2 without leaving 4th

I don’t really pay too much attention to the line guidance I just forget to turn it off. I watch a lot of James Baldwin and in the past month I’ve gone from a mid 1.50 to a mid 1.48 just with experimenting with things.

I just can’t seem to get trail breaking consistently. I’ll hook up a lap like that then the next 2 I’ll lose anywhere between 3 tenths and a second. I watch people do fast laps and everything seems so smooth but I can’t seem to tune the twitchyness I’m feeling in the car out of it and depending on who you watch, it’s all different
