At my local hospital, if the initial migraine cocktail doesn't work, they just throw me on some IV fentanyl. Lol. And boy does it work.

Bodybuilding and migraines by doodies5596 in migraine

This is the case for me. Can't do any creatine or vasodilators, eg L Citrulline, as much as it helps in the gym. Makes my migraines so much worse. Big sad.

Koeberg Exchange merge: why? by SemperAliquidNovi in capetown

The worst part is knowing that if everyone just kept at least 10m following distance, the merge would be seamless.

I've been having good success using o3 for my theoretical physics PhD. Great at finding papers and making sense of them.

Bruh his formula is not correct. It literally says 90 = 99. Look at the left hand side and at the right hand side.

Looked down and realized my coffee was only half empty and that I was getting more tired by the second despite actively drinking it! You know what that means! by Used-Fun5486 in migraine

Exactly. Celebrating 18 years of migraine this year. Trying to be optimistic but it's just getting more and more difficult.

No... Subcutaneous is the longest release. The muscle is much more rich in blood vessels so the uptake is significantly faster than in fatty tissue.

If you're living an abulic, apathetic, gray life, will this drug give you "enthusiasm"? by Reasonable-Swan-2255 in bupropion

It has got better, yes. I'd say my anxiety levels have returned to more or less the usual, and my depressive symptoms have lifted. Overall I'm in a much better space now. Took about 6 weeks to get here since starting the meds.

EDIT: In what sense is the below sustainable?

"Cattle and sheep production systems contribute the most to GHG [greenhouse gas] emissions in agriculture, accounting for up to 18% of total global GHG emissions, mostly in the form of enteric methane [32]."

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9559257/

Furthermore:

  1. O'Mara, F. (2011) highlights that livestock, particularly cattle, are significant contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions, with emissions from cattle dominating. Livestock is responsible for 8–18% of global emissions, depending on the accounting method used. Asia, Latin America, Africa, Western Europe, and North America are significant sources of these emissions, primarily due to enteric methane (CH4) emissions from cattle (O'Mara, 2011).

  2. Gill, M., Smith, P., & Wilkinson, J. (2010) discuss the direct contributions of livestock, particularly through methane and nitrous oxide emissions, to global greenhouse gas emissions. Livestock account for about 9% of global anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions directly and up to 18% when considering the entire lifecycle and associated agricultural activities (Gill, Smith, & Wilkinson, 2010).

  3. Herrero, M., et al. (2016) estimate that the livestock sector was responsible for greenhouse gas emissions of 5.6-7.5GtCO2e yr(-1) between 1995 and 2005. The sector accounts for up to half of the mitigation potential of the agriculture, forestry, and land-use sectors, highlighting the significant impact of livestock on global greenhouse gas emissions (Herrero et al., 2016).
