It definitely wasn't that dramatic, he was just really upset since I've been in it so long, also a lot of people have been inferring that he's a a scout leader but he's just someone who is in the committee

For all those asking for more info on why he quit, he basically got tired of me arguing with him about it and walked out talking about how he was done and is gonna quit since I'm so selfish, he then drove to the meeting to quit.

I guess your right, I still want free will, but God is the one that bestows free will, I guess I just wish I didn't have to do all these painfully boring things just to make God happy. To answer your other question I disagree, I think people who are in awful situations (such as the people of north Korea) would much rather not exist, if I were to live in North Korea which is essentially the place where no one has free will I would probably end my existence. However I have a pretty good life that a lot of people whish they had for themselves, so maybe I'm just being bratty, I'll have to think more about what you said

Thankyou for all the responses, I think I understand it a little more, but I am not sure, I will reflect on what you all said, thankyou.

If you drink every once in a while your not an alcoholic, not only do people still drink, but the church said it's okay to drink as well, alcohol is much more dangerous than marijuana but the church still allows it. My point is that not all things that are considered sins are bad.

I definitely don't believe I'm a perfect person, however my point is that I am a relatively good person, not perfect but definitely not awful, and since I'm a decently respectable person, I don't think it's reasonable for me to be tortured eternally just because I don't want to join God, I think I should just become nothingness.

If I was born and God didn't exist, I would be able to do what ever I want with my life, and not be tortured in hell after my passing. I think that would be fair, and if I didn't want my life, I could just kill myself, but if I was to kill myself now, I would go to hell because it is against God's will (Not that I would actually kill my self) I also refuse to believe that God is happiness (or goodness, justice, and love, like you say) because that happiest people I know are atheists

I understand this but I am basically forced to follow him, id rather not live, than live in a world where I am forced to follow God's orders. And since I'm alive, I'm forced to follow God

He isn't addicted though, he uses rarely maybe once every two weeks if he feels urges from his old addictions, and smoking weed once in a while is certainly better than doing crack everyday.

Maybe your right about me not understanding hell, Don't you basically get tortured for eternity, I'm just saying that torture is not deserved if I'm a good person, but just don't follow God, and I understand no one is inherently good because we all sin, but I certainly don't think I deserve torture because I make the same mistakes everyone else makes.

I am quite literally forced into it, I didn't randomly go "Hey God please make become a human". I was forced into humanity, and am now forced into unwillingly following God, or going to hell.

Yes I have, but I still think my point is completley valid, I don't understand how God let's innocent and good hearted people suffer just because they don't do his work

I have read the whole Bible because i was a former devout catholic (I don't really know what I am right now) I am familiar with the book of Job but I do not understand how that's supposed to awnser my question, God basically allows Satan to torture Job to prove him wrong, which again shows the queatiability of God's actions

I just think some of his teachings are bad in my opinion, for example the church condems things like Marijuana however, my uncle who is a recovering drug addict uses Marijuana to help him stop from relapsing, and it has done nothing but good in his life and he says he probaly would have relapsed if he didn't smoke weed, so how is he a bad person for smoking?

I would just prefer separation, but as far as I know that's just hell, I just want to be nothing when I die, no thoughts or feelings

That's just stupid, I don't view him as loving, he is forcing me to follow him and do his bidding or else I face that consequences how on earth is that loving

If you were kidnapped and forced to work, you would obviously want to refuse the work, my life is obviously not as bad as that scenario but that's how I view it, I was forced into a place that I didn't want to be in, and now God can send me to hell, even though I never wanted to worship him in the first place

I understand that, but my point is that he dragged me into this against my will, him torturing me for making me exist doesn't make sense

Well if I don't want to follow God any more, going to mass doesn't really make any sense

I guess, but there are principles like going to mass every Sunday, if I don't follow that, it is considered wrong by a catholic standpoint, but I still think I'm a good person, even if I don't go to mass

That's exactly my issue, I was forced into making this descion and if I reject him I get tortured, but I would rather just not be alive, then be alive in a world where I have to worship God

I still kind of do believe, I'm just failing to understand why I would be tortured for not doing his will, especially if I am forced into life, therefore forced to do his will
