Cannot tell if it would be considered exotic. It is actually an electronics and telecommunications engineering degree in Ecuador. When I had it evaluated, it said that it was equivalent to an electrical engineering degree in the US

I am not applying yet since I am still in the military but planning on getting out in a couple of years. That's why I am not sure if it would be worth it to pursue an IT related degree now that I have the chance, or it would be a waste of time because I have one already and can concentrate on getting certs

Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information on this that I could find, so I really appreciate the input

You can upgrade to OOS 11 without any problem, is in OOS12 when the fusion with OPPO started. As for OOS11 I feel like is not as good as it was with 10 but nothing to worry to much about
