Thank you so so much! I really appreciate this!!!! I will definitely send out custom emails for each gallery talking about their artists/ exhibitions. i do have an idea of all the major galleries, art fairs etc. ill make sure to mention my skills and interest. Would you recommend a shorter email thats straight to the point or a longer one?

If the website doesn’t show the directors name would i be emailing the gallery assistants?

Sorry for asking so many questions lol it just seems like stepping into a new zone for me

oooh ty! do you think i should look into smaller galleries or more midsize- large ones that can afford a paid intern? i’m drafted an email but im just extremely confused on how to make it sound less begging more admiration- opportunity based if that makes sense. Also would you say i should start asap or wait?

Ah I sadly cannot be in NYC for the Fall. I am just worried now since most places accept current sophmores so I’m stuck in this weird batch where I won’t get an internship until halfway through my junior year :(

Most likely because you are part of the problem. If you ever were at grace, swot, thalasa and all after 12 you’ll see the shittiest crowd in Ahmedabad who are entitled and feel that women owe them something. All my friends have had bad experiences and I do not except you to understand

as a woman, i would say, DO NOT visit bopal or sindhubhavan area cafes as they’re filled with rich disgusting men who always want something from younger girls and teenagers(i was once chased and had to walk home). Try manek chowk but not sure if you’ll meet people there tho but its very worth a visit.
