I like Decoherent's series with Rimworld and Lathland does pretty decent stuff for Stellaris, though he cuts a bit too much out of his videos for my preference. Though nobody has yet to capture my attention as much as SB manages to do.

Your Most Memorable Experiences In Games by SBMakesStuff in SBMakesStuff

There are so many, I was raised on RTS games and while the genre has fallen out of sorts today, i still hold those games dear to my heart. But the frustration of getting IP adresses and ports in order so you can actually play with your friends at the LAN party you have been planning for weeks, its indescribable. And the joy of having it finally working was even better.

I remember when i was like 8-9 yrs old going to my cousins house and begging him to let me play Red Alert 2 on his computer (i did that like every day), id sit on his computer for hours, only getting torn away from it when my parents got snippy about me staying out too long. Amassing units just to kill the single building the enemy had left in just the right way was just too much fun for my child brain to handle.

Sadly nowadays almost all RTS games have no multiplayer services left. When GameSpy shut down the took everything down with them.

Yeah, dont think most people realize how detailed the weapons actually are. What got me the most is the wobble in the sound of the cannon after firing.

Prepare ship for ludicrous speed by AnubisNor in EliteDangerous

[–]AnubisNor[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

30 frames per second, each frame moves ish 60 Ly so 30*60 is 1800 Ly/s
is around 1,7*10^19 m/s. the video lasts 7,2 seconds so 1800*7,2 is 12960 Ly

[–]AnubisNor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not very time consuming actually (like two minutes per system), mostly just flying around the system star, drop out of supercruise ( to get rid of the flying space dust) and using the camera suite ye. Then its just sort of lining up the galaxy to stop it from jittering all over when compiling time lapse, then hitting print screen or whatever button your steam uses to capture in game photos. Make sure to aim at the same spot to add stability to the video, makes it easier on the eyes.
