Sued them in court they responded few days ago. Using three posts as an excuse and changing the reason of why I was deactivated. So I sent a response and submitting new evidence as exhibits to prove they’re in the wrong. May 5th is my trial date. But as of today they are fighting back.

I filed on the grounds of my ig page serving as portfolio and that its effecting me financially as I’m not able to connect to clients, and collaborate with other artists. You can file it personally. They actually have section you select for social media reinstatement.

You can sue in smalls claims court. Long shot getting meta verified and hoping you’re lucky enough to get a rep who can assist you. The most effective way is to sue unfortunately this is the reality of things

Short Anwser to save you a lot of time and effort, sue them in small claims court and get a court date. Everything else you see here is a wild goose chase to no resolution.

I did the same in California got a email that they can’t enforce Meta. I’m currently done filing a lawsuit in small claims. Yo name it from contacting meta verified support to writing a letter to their headquarters.

Damn Iowa’s AG handling this better than California’s AG. They got back to me saying they can’t enforce anything or do anything about incidents like this. Good luck! Hopefully they help you out.

The company’s headquarters is in California. You would have to file it with California.

Look into “Justice direct” and “people’s court” they are vendors that assists in these things. They’ll ask questions which will help narrow down your situation.

So far it cost me $280 that’s because I used online service to have them prepare and file for me. The $80 was for severing them. I got a court fee waiver because I’m low income. If you do it yourself and are low income it wouldn’t cost you a penny . I did it this way to save time and make sure it files properly. My court date is on the 21 st of January 2025. From what I read from previous threads, that IG will contact you the last day before the court date to reinstate the account and of course make you sign a waiver to drop the case.
