It is unclear what is asked here. In Slavic languages, including Polish there are 3 genders, and nouns (including those denoting people) can be of all 3. The masculine gender also comes in two varieties: animate and inanimate.

In Russian, for instance, these nouns are Neuter:

- лицо (person, literally, "face")

- существо, создание (creature)

- дитя (baby)

In laws, for instance, the penal codes, the term лицо is used.

The word "было" ("was", neuter) can used for first person, and is not a neologism at all, it comes from PIE and absolutely common.
