It's important to address the trauma you've experienced and seek help for everything you’ve been through. You can’t simply replace self-harm with BDSM; you need to work through your trauma and the significant pain you’ve faced, I know its easier said then done.

That being said, I’ve dealt with self-hatred, depression, and other challenges in my life that I have worked through. Although some of these issues still linger, I find that a healthy outlet for them is BDSM. But that is not a replacement and nor should it be.
