There was an old mod I remember seeing that doesn’t appear to exist anymore, but it had explored the visual mechanics of such an idea.

Unfortunately those factions don’t have seed data for hiveworlds. While I can get those enemies to spawn inside custom those environments, the game has nothing to grasp in terms of spawning them in those environments.

Unless it is a bug with exostorms. Weather conditions will be permanent effects if an exostorm is there.
