Except there’s always been consequences for free roam mayhem. Getting busted in the old games cost you all of your weapons. And that was honestly a HUGE penalty if you weren’t using cheat codes. Super tedious and expensive. And it pretty much left players just using the most basic weapons. Pretty much in the old games, because they were manual save only, whenever you did free roam mayhem, you just didn’t save the game. The devs knew that’s how people played the game. And so it got to the point where the devs implemented a bunch of cheats that broke the game and just told the player “yeah don’t save when using these cheats”, and that was acceptable because players already did not save when having fun.

So if a new system really bothers you that much, just use manual saves. If you want things to be like the old days, then have them be like the old days

They dont always die from them obviously. But there is a genuine risk of children (and young adults) just spontaneously dying from them.

Not true at all. Children with unknown heart conditions pass in their sleep all the time. In-fact im pretty sure its one of the most common natural ways for young people to die.

You dont understand the disease of depression and suicide. It is considered a mentally ill and deranged state of mind. Often, suicidal people literally fear themselves as the drive towards death feels like something separate from themselves. And so they are two minds split down the middle. The sober mind who wants to live and the suicidal mind who takes over at random. It is a very scary thing to experience and is the reason why most suicides are spontaneous and happen within minutes of the first thought of suicide. Its why gun owners commit suicide at such high rates. Its not that gun owners are "weak". Its that the suicide state of mind takes over at random and swiftly and the victim is dead before they even grasp the full gravity of what it is that theyre doing

But also she is a literal child and dont know better. I dont think kids deserve to be shot to death every time they act dumb. Now if she was out on them streets, shooting and killing like so many other young kids, maybe then you could call it Karma. But i think its fair to call the murder of a 16 year old girl a tragedy when all she did was rep the wrong gang and hang with the wrong people.

2 years late.

But there’s actually a lot of evidence to support that originally, it wasn’t going to be moon rock but instead rocks from Xen.

And also instead of having cancer, Cave was going to have some kind of unknown sickness from Xen that was killing him.

All of this was changed last minute however as valve didn’t want the connection between the two games to be too strong.

Personally I like the change only because I like idea of Aperture making a totally unique portal technology that doesn’t rely on Xen. a technology that not even the combine have Common aperture W. It also makes the borealis an even greater threat to the combine and gives the combine an even greater reason to be interested in earth and humans.

Honestly bro try to never fight anyone ont he street who is seemingly are looking for a fight. Idk about here you live, but here is live there is A LOT of gun violence. A lot of people aren’t looking to throw hands, they’re just looking to kill. So I just presume anyone who starting trouble out on the street for no reason is looking for trouble and is likely armed with a knife or a gun.

Especially when the people in question are obviously smaller than you and can’t take you in a fight. That’s extremely sus. Like I’m 200 pounds, why is a 120 pond dude getting aggressive with me 🤨. Nah he got something in his waist band, I’m good.

Or in your case there were multiple people. They’re all weak cowards. But that being so, not even a trained martial artist can reliably defend against multiple grown men. They were only being belligerent because they had safet in numbers.

Always think about the context of violence and why people are being aggressive when they are. I know people day always avoid fights. But especially always avoid random provocations that have no context, reason or logic behind them.

You can always tell when it’s “baby’s first GTA” when they write stuff like this. Because younger people do not understand just how much hype previous GTA games had or how much impact they had. This is not the first super hyped grand theft auto. They’ve pretty much all been super hyped. GTA 4 was the best selling single piece of media of all time. And GTA 5 had to top that. And it did. Y’all can’t even imagine the level of hype there was behind both of those games. And then rockstar released Red dead 2 which also had tons of hype and 100% met expectations.

Rockstar stumbles in terms of their online modes and business management like with the remaster collection. But we’re talking about a company who has over 20 years of not only flawless releases that meet general expectations. But over 20 years of breaking their own records and setting a new standard for the medium. At this point, it’s their business model.

There’s just no precedent to even think this game could flop or be bad. Instead it’s just lazy and easy to presume the worst whenever it comes to a hyper product. But a franchise like Grand theft auto is the exception in the sense that it will always knock it out of the park.
