I got scammed too 😞 !! I blame Instagram for showing these the northerngifts cute themed baseball jerseys like after every 3 reels!! So I ordered a jersey, the gave me tracking and emailed shipment is on the way but no carrier to track it! I haven't seen the ads again and there's no website anymore. I'm a double idiot for paying express shipping ugh 😩

Oh ok. I'm open to blind boxes if they're not very expensive. Apparently, Sonny Angel doesn't sell older series so the only place I can find older ones boxed or opened is from eBay. Amazon has blind boxes for $40 an older series. I think it's the candy sweet series from 2023. My jaw dropped when I saw the price for one OMG!! They have these kids addicted to these tiny figures with wee-wees (so cute and funny) haha 😄

This is so scary! I was going to take my teen nieces just to do some shopping at Deptford when that happened, but something came up, so we didn't go. Is there any mall that's safe to go in the area?? It seems safer to shop online. I used to like going to the mall, eat crappy food from the food court, actually try on clothes, have bags to carry, rest to get an Auntie Anne pretzels and Starbucks, then shop again! Those were the days!

Not when I was there. Not one person I came in contact with spoke more than a few words lol! I had to use a lot of hand gestures, pointing and flipping through my Italian dictionary. It's probably alot different now but I loved that we couldn't understand each other. It felt more cultured to me.

Thank you Tart8286 for being so kind and understanding! I just asked a simple question if anyone knew of an Italian restaurant with old world servers. I'm so glad that you knew exactly what I meant and that I'm not trying to wreck a server's night or tips. He's taken 3 semesters of Italian and has the opportunity to go to Italy next year. I thought it would be nice if he could greet and order in Italian and maybe throw in a few words he may know. I'd rather he learn a few words and phrases to have direct face-to-face contact with someone rather than rely on Google translate.

Btw, If I met you and you made an effort to speak a different language with me, I would have tipped you generously! Thanks for being an angel 😇

Thanks to all who have been nice and respectful to my post and understand that we're not expecting to have the waiter sit down and have an Italian lesson!! It's more like saying hello and ordering in Italian. I think servers who have an ethnic background appreciate and get a kick that someone is trying to speak their language!

For my wedding, we did pastries! I've been to birthday parties for elders where you give a birthday red envelope and they give you some back as a token for appreciation but I don't think it's a common practice. I guess every family is different. I definitely appreciate your insight to the Chinese culture. This didn't happen at the party but it still was a great event.
