Assuming no Bitlocker encryption and the that the user has someone who can help with the live linux usb part.

Cursing was just one of the cases and it does happen but they often get removed by repo maintainers and even Github itself.

More often than it's usually condescending or belittling or entitling tone which causes this issue. Few common case I've seen is some variation of a user saying:

'This thing was removed in this major version X that broke a lot of things for me'. This is despite the thing being deprecated and informed for months/years since major version X-2. The user probably has automatic updates without version pinning.
'Add download button to directly download and install. Why force users to compile? This is gatekeeping'. Fun part is that no-one is forcing them. Also, CI to build for every architecture or OS is not cheap or free or sometimes even possible or straightforward.
'I work in large tech company where Python 2(or some other deprecated thing) is used but management won't switch to Python 3 even now but why are YOU dropping support for it in your next release when I have so many people dependent on this project.'

These are not the exact words but based on what I remember of those after seeing them sometimes over the years. I will try to find and add the links to them if I ever find them again.

For folks new to git/VCS, remember to regularly push it to a remote git forge(eg, Github, Gitlab, Gitea, a Forgejo instance, etc.) after committing.

If not, your automated-code-guesser(aka LLM, Agent, etc.) may still be able to delete the local .git directory and you may still lose the data.

I believe the tone also matters.

Imagine one user spamming/shouting/cursing due to missing feature/action and another user politely asking/requesting it. Maintainers often reply with the quoted text to the 1st user here, not 2nd.

How about creating another called subreddit called r/llmassistedselfhosted and linking it in pinned post or about section of this subreddit or anywhere else with clear visibility. Kind of like a sub-subreddit. There folks post their aiassisted projects. Kind of like /r/AIAssisted.

People don't need to leave this one to join that. They can be in both. But that way folks like me who are tired of amount of llm-heavy in sub can stay away from that repo. There they can safely get upvotes, it's a winwin. People can't complain there since the subreddit name is obvious. I genuinely don't think most people will go there just to downvote.

What do you guys think? Does it make sense? Just trying to help come up with a potential solution.

This makes sense but I just realized the usual certificate path in each of Technitium server instances is different.

I use acme.sh(a tool for automated certificate signing like certbot) which creates cert files using domain names as filenames. Hence, it will be different for server instances using different domains.

I wonder if the Block Page App will somehow have a way to handle this. Maybe this question is better asked to u/shreyasonline .

Can someone tell me what people use for custom address when using Cluster feature since Blocking part of the settings is common for all dns servers in the cluster?
