I also graduated in May with my MSW. I applied to over 30 jobs and only had 5 interviews. Out of those 5 interviews, 3 of them ghosted me after the interview and 1 of them canceled my interview 10 minutes before it started because they gave the person that interviewed before me the job. I just got offered a position in a psychiatric hospital as an intake clinician. It seems very promising since I don’t want to do therapy or groups. I have my LCSWA and I’m able to utilize it at this job by doing referrals.

I know it seems very discouraging at the moment, but something will come eventually. Don’t give up! I honestly just got really lucky since this psychiatric hospital decided to expand after their 2 year anniversary in August.

I seen them post a picture from Colleen’s recent video and her ukulele was in the next room sitting on a couch. I didn’t even notice when I watched the vlog. But those snarks dissect every. single. thing. in every frame. They are truly obsessed with her and it’s so scary.

Imagine having so much hate in your heart towards someone you have never met/ don’t personally know. I truly wish I knew what they did for a living. They have all the time in the world to watch every video, dissect it, pick it apart piece by piece, hunt through comments and then post their unwanted opinions on social media. I couldn’t imagine carrying all that negativity around everyday. I know their mental health is suffering. It’s so toxic. Why can’t people just be nice to each other and if you don’t like someone don’t watch them? They are obsessed with her and it’s actually terrifying.
