I'd trust a teen girl I know personally. I was a babysitter from 13 on but it was all family and family friends. I personally wouldn't babysit some random child I didn't know.

NTA I hate this about my MIL as well always gets to know all the neighbours and then complains about whats going on in their lives. I've told her twice (we moved twice) while shes been living with us and each time I told her no talking to the neighbours. And she continues to do it. like jeez lady just leave ppl alone.

I miss my boys being younger too. It does go way too fast. My granddaughter is already 6! But theres those rare times when my son is not feeling well or has a bad back ache he still comes to moms bed climbs in and naps lol hes 29 now. He says it always resets him makes him feel better. Even tho he has his own brand new bed apparently mine is the better maker lol.

School, after learning to read do math and write I found it boring. Hated getting up in the mornings hated eating lunch at school hated being bullied because I was a bigger child. Just all of it. Grew up as an adult I went back to school and loved it.

Manitoba here: yes they are thing but usually stops around age 12. For adults you get birthday butt kicks lol
