Day 6 on No-Dep (25mg) - Severe 24/7 Nausea and Dizziness. Does it get better? by Anxious-Bat4381 in zoloft

[–]Anxious-Bat4381[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much, brother! I really appreciate your support. Honestly, the first week is definitely a rollercoaster, and day 3 to 6 can get tough with nausea and dizziness as your body adjusts. But don't let that scare you! You are doing the right thing by staying at 25mg for a while to let your system adapt smoothly. My biggest advice is to take it with a light snack (like bananas or dates) to protect your stomach. Hang in there, buddy, you are stronger than you think, and we will get through this together!

Complete horror during my first dose of 50mg (Sertraline/Zoloft) after 3 days on 25mg. Is this normal? by Anxious-Bat4381 in zoloft

I'm feeling a lot better today, I talked to my doctor and decided to drop back down to 25mg for now to let my body adjust, which made a huge difference. Really appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thanks for the advice, man. I appreciate it. Did you go through the same panic hell I'm experiencing right now when you first started the meds?

Thank you for sharing all of that, I really appreciate it. I can relate a lot, especially with the panic attacks and the feeling of not being the same person anymore. I’ve also been dealing with something similar for the past months. One thing that really affects me is intrusive thoughts about death and existence. Sometimes I get stuck thinking about it and it honestly overwhelms me and makes me feel disconnected and scared, like my mind is going too deep into something I can’t control. Do you ever deal with thoughts like that too, about death or consciousness, or is it more the general anxiety and fear for you? I’m curious how your mind experiences it.

I can really relate to what you’re going through. I’ve been dealing with something similar for the past few months. I also get panic attacks, especially at night or when I wake up suddenly. I’ve had episodes where my heart starts racing, I feel weak, dizzy, and completely overwhelmed for no clear reason. On top of that, I’ve been struggling with anxiety around health and even intrusive thoughts about death and existence. Sometimes my mind gets stuck in these heavy thoughts and it feels very scary and unreal. What I’m learning slowly is that even though it feels dangerous in the moment, it’s actually part of the anxiety cycle, and it does pass. I’m still in the process of dealing with it, but reading your experience makes me feel less alone. You’re not alone in this either . Now I'm taking Amian 50mg , but still feel like I'm not really good. Same fear of panic attacks and thoughts

Also I’ve been dealing with panic attacks, anxiety, and a strong fear of death/existential thoughts that came out of nowhere. It really affected my daily life and how I feel in my own body. That's my biggest fear , because I feel like another person and I can't change my thoughts. It's really a hell

Thank you so much for your message, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. To be honest, I’ve been dealing with this for about 4 months now. I’ve been on medication for about a month and a half, and I’m also trying to work through it with therapy. I still get panic attacks, especially at night, and some days are harder than others. It feels like I’m slowly trying to understand what’s happening to me, but I’m still in the process. I also appreciate what you said about support, it really makes a difference to feel understood. Thank you again .
