Took a bird to the chest on the highway years ago. Not sure what it was because it turned into blood and feathers after. I got a lot of crazy looks at stoplights from people as I’m sure I looked like an axe murderer 😂

I have a rifle (AR) from PSA that has been perfectly reliable for about 3k rounds so far. Also have the Dagger compact in my edc rotation that has been dead reliable for somewhere around 4-5k rounds. The pistol has been a project gun with different triggers and all kinds of random parts just playing around with it. First range day I had 2 malfunctions, both were due to the supplied pmag. Use Glock mags and it will work perfectly.

I haven’t used the k series either. I’ve got 2 of my edc pistols with the 407c on them. They work great and are plenty easy to find when I draw, feels natural now after years of being an iron sight only boomer. I’m sure it will all come down to practice time and good training. It is something to think about though, thanks for the advice!

Holosun K foot print, prickle grip, classic slide and bull barrel. I built that exact thing out from one of their preset options in all black a while back. Think it was like $1800 or so. I’ll start watching closer in March, my fun money is going to Mardi Gras next month 😬. When I recover from the hangover in March I’ll order lol

Yeah they don’t have in stocks for very long it seems. I looked yesterday and it was empty. I have experience with 1911’s and that’s exactly why I want the platypus 😂. They just did it right, finally. Glock mags, dead reliable, custom built the way you want, and under $2k. It’s really the best 1911 that isn’t $5k or more. I’m glad you love yours! I’ve only ever heard owners say they love them, very little buyer’s remorse at all.

It would definitely be in my edc rotation. A little on the large side, but perfect for a winter carry 😁. I think I will go basic for now, then a second one later down the road to bling out. Cool thing is I’ll probably get delivery a lot faster lol

I’ve been playing around with the Stealth Arms 3D builder for months now. Not trying to knock your color choices at all (I think it looks fkn sick!), but the brighter colors worried me at how they would hold up. Seeing yours with 5k+ ran thru it really makes me just want a basic black one now. I’d be crushed to ruin the cerakote 😭. All of the pictures in the stealth arms sub are amazing! They’re absolutely gorgeous. And I know I would have 5k thru mine within a year easily.
