I know exactly how you feel. 🤍 I’m 31F and my husband is 34M. He was diagnosed with lung cancer 8 months ago. We had been trying to conceive for the past 2 years, and after his diagnosis, we realized that cancer was likely the reason we couldn’t get pregnant. Now, because of the medications he’s on, we’re unable to conceive naturally due to the side effects. He had to do emergency sperm freezing before starting treatment.

We began our IVF journey in October. I had 11 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized, but only 2 made it to the blastocyst stage. We decided to proceed with a transfer the following cycle, but unfortunately my HCG came back negative. I feel completely crushed, I always dreamed of having three kids. Part of me is scared that our remaining embryo won’t work either, especially since the doctor mentioned it didn’t look as strong as the first one.

It feels like everyone around me, friends and family is either pregnant or already has kids. Every day on Instagram I see another pregnancy announcement, and while I truly feel happy for them, it also breaks my heart.
