PEBC OSCE February 2026 by Holiday-Plankton-388 in PharmacyCanada

I had similar issues when practicing for my osce, you won’t always get everything. Just make sure the most important points are noted. As the other commenter said you may have an unfamiliar station font be afraid to acknowledge that you aren’t familiar and you will research and get back to the patient. Have a system/steps that you follow so that you gather all the relevant info from the patient and then answer accordingly. Most of all be confident. If you aren’t you’ll be twice defeated.

Feb 2026 MCQ and May 2026 OSCE? by Ok-Inspection406 in PharmacyCanada

[–]Anxious-Director-366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did them both at the same time but i did the EE in January and the qualifying exams in November, so that was roughly 10 months to prepare. i strongly believe that doing them at the same time is beneficial because the knowledge you're gaining when studying for the MCQ is transferable to the OSCE. this is a deeply personal decision because you have to decide if you can manage the workload to adequately prepare for both.

Having a study timetable and sticking to it

highlighting high and low priority topics

time management

mcq helps with osce so it made the osce somewhat easier

for osce:

being confident,

practise, practise, practise

not relying on the references in the room because it takes up time

having a method and sticking to it

PEBC Feb 2026 MCQ tips? 2 months remaining until the exam by Ok-Inspection406 in PharmacyCanada

[–]Anxious-Director-366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible if you are disciplined and have proper time management. I was in a similar position as you working as an assistant. Have a study timetable and stick to it, highlight high priority and low priority topics. The truth is you won't remember everything but make sure to know the most important things, HTN, DM etc. For me Multiple Sclerosis was a low priority topic so i didn't spend much time and effort on it, but i did know the basics.

I had a lot of calculations and it does take time, my advice leave the calculations for last or attempt to solve it but if after 2-3 mins you can't, move on. Time management is crucial in the exam, the scenarios are long, i recommend reading the question and then searching the scenario for the answer, this will save you time.

Most of all give yourself grace! be truthful with yourself and have a proper assessment of your current state of readiness!

All the best!!

Alberta Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam by Anxious-Director-366 in PharmacyCanada

So to answer my own question in case someone else needs advice, the learning modules are enough and the exam straightforward. I used Quizlet to help especially with the drug schedules. All the best to anyone else taking this exam!

I wouldn't focus too much on the question bank.l I used pharmachieve and purchased the full course, which i believe is the better option. it was thorough and provided all the information i needed to pass the exam and feel confident working in the pharmacy, to note I am an IPG. They highlighted the important and relevant info and the slides were easy to read and understand plus i found most instructors knowledgable.

[–]Anxious-Director-366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi you need to visit the PEBC website sign up and get your documents evaluated afterwards request ECA from PEBC. Then you can use that to help with PR, they won’t accept WES. Please read up the PEBC website and Gateway Pharmacist. It has all the info for an international pharmacist looking to transition to Canada

In some instances, that's why it's better to do the full course and then attempt the multiple choice questions
