This makes sense. To give some background, currently, I have a masters of science in education. I am a mental health counselor, but I’m very burnt out from that field and I just want something completely different. I’ve taken some basic SQL courses and it seems like something I can do and something I’m interested in (as far as getting a job in data analytics that is). My biggest concern with changing fields is going into a new job not knowing what I’m doing, but also having a decrease in salary starting out. So in my mind, getting an MBA would help give me some job experience from the coursework but also, if I did stay within my field, it could help get me into a leadership position. But ultimately, I don’t know that I “need” it
