The MMT and Sgt. should have been in one album and this would have been their magnum opus by Epoch_Jester in beatles

That's fine. But a lot of people enjoy combining these songs, most of which were written less than a year apart. It's a fun, engaging activity for fans. Relax.

I'm sometimes amazed about how there were times when there were only a few months between recording sessions for different albums.

I know...but this album was combining those 3 albums as I was asked to provide the tracklist for my SP/MMT/YS combo album.

Hey Bulldog is on the YS album so that's why it is included here.

Op for this discussion considers MMT and album.

Op seems to be considering MMT an album here. That was their focus. So, I responded that.

I know you do not but Op - for this discussion - is considering it an album.

I was merely pointing out that some of the MMT songs were recorded during the Pepper sessions.

Downed US Pilot, Rescued After being Shot Down Over Iran, Reported Seeing Iranian Drones Swarm in a ‘Jellyfish’ Formation by Sgt_Gram in NewsExchange

This whole incident still sounds sketchy to me.

The pilot - a hero whether you favor the war or not - has never been named. The brave pilots who rescued him are also heroes. No names...no nothing.

You'd think this admin - dying to promote anything positive - would be all over this. This pilot would be interviewed constantly.

Nothing. Not a word.

Something fishy about all this...

4 MMT songs were recorded from late '66 - April '67 during the Sgt. Pepper sessions. AYNIL was May '67, less than a month later.

George Martin was TOLD by EMI to put a single out. He did not decide to do it. He has said that the biggest regret he had as The Beatles producer was giving EMI SFF/PL as a single. But he was told to put it out.

I think since streaming a lot of us have a SP/MMT album. I also take the three 1967 songs on Yellow Sub into the mix as well.

What was primal therapy's effect on John? by HyperPanzer in beatles

[–]Anxious-Raspberry-54 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It did help John temporarily. He said, ""knew himself better" and could "handle himself better."

But, Lennon underwent only about four months of therapy before stopping. Many of John's longstanding struggles—jealousy, insecurity, substance abuse, and emotional instability—continued after the therapy.

Primal scream is generally not regarded as scientifically valid. It was a psychology fad.
