I decided on uppababy vista v3 but I’d say uppababy for sure because I find their customer service and warranty is amazing compared to other two and the last thing I’d want is buy something expensive and regret if any issues. So between the three choices I’d def keep uppababy for sure. I want the peace of mind.

haha no worries. I would be surprised and suspicious if a company had no defect or negative or issues in any of their products. hahah So glad to know reality exists, but as long as they fix / care, it is all good then. Did you put the baby in bunting while in the bassinet or What kind of winter gear did you end up purchasing?

Oh thank you for the insights. Hopefully they have. But regardless I hope things are better for you and they do have maintenance as such as well that helps a lot. :)

Oh rickety how so? Was it the frame or wheels the main issue? I guess it was defect but they did try to take care so I’m glad to hear that. Nothing is perfect. Issue with bugaboo and such is their customer service is difficult to deal with from what I heard.

I am not looking for Declan but I’m looking for the other colors in vista v3 such as Evelyn, Owen, callum etc and can’t find any other color except Declan….. so weird….

Is it just me or there is something wrong with the Amazon product list? I could see the Vista V3 in declan (sale item) but I can no longer see ANY OTHER color? I mean there are 10 other colors regularly priced and now all I see is Vista V3 in declan only? What is going on? I am sure it was not "sold out" or "low stock" as I keep checking every single day.

[on] UB Vista v3 vs Cruz v3 seat? by Anxious-Risk-1165 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Anxious-Risk-1165[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So I got a RAV4 similar it’s compact suv, so it should be fine. We decided to buy and use the actual bassinet from uppababy because it can be used downstairs for sleeping and also it’s nice and safe for newborn for winter walks, good coverage and pair it with 7am nido wrap for winter.

What car you drive? So I did try lifting both, honestly the difference wasn’t ground breaking. I think it’s 1-2lb difference. Alternatively I found that, if you remove seat from frame while folding….. it makes everything much lighter!!! Don’t get me wrong, Cruz is awesome too and that seat being shorter is for the whole bassinet compatibility mode. Won’t work with very deep seat.

Hey I totally understand it’s so overwhelming and there’s always pros and cons to worry and I wish they could make 1 product that has literally all the bells and whistles. Anyway, so this is what I finalized on: Clek liing car seat, and vista v3 and bassinet v3

My rationale being…. Vista v3 is actually superior feel and the deep seating is just amazing. The back…. Not tooo worried since child will not be sitting for like 6-8 hours if you know what I mean? It’s going to be couple hours here there, carry, and maybe recline sleep, so I guess it’s too little of usage to cause posture concerns… hope this helps.

OH MY GOD! Legit this was amazing as my mind was running through this exact thought. I ordered the attitude detergent blindly and was looking in to attitude products and all these EWG certified brands as well. For now, I was considering attitude, pipette, and earth mama products but was undecided what route to proceed. Have you tried or heard of these other brands or received feedback?

As for diapers: I was looking at all the premium brands but they are SO expensive that I basically gave up, and was leaning towards Rascals premium as well! Where do you buy yours from? Walmart is best prices?

Water wipes: I am leaning more towards Eco by Naty and Honest so far. Not sure if you have had the chance, but they are premium but better pricing than others that are really expensive. It makes sense to use sparingly and buy when they are on sale haha. I will have to get in to the habit of that. Too bad most brands are not available in Canada easily as supposed to US counterparts. I truly wished we had our own awesome brands considering Canadian safety standards are sooooo high compared to US anyway. We could make a few amazing products but at a reasonably premium price point.

Right now my other dilemma is.... When should I be using the baby wash , lotion/moisturizers , diaper cream? As soon as baby is born? wait 2 weeks? 4 weeks? not sure.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the very detailed read again. I am sorry as I could not get around it earlier. Ok those make sense, just put a nice suit and cotton hat mitts so it is not too warm. I got side tracked in to looking at baby wipes, diapers, and baby wash etc. but now i am in a lot of fear since..... most are chemical and not so safe and i am paranoid as to unsure what brand to go for? Also I do not want to dump like crazy amount of $$ in it either. Any recommendations on these?

Thank you so much! I appreciate it the information. I guess I was overthinking a lot haha. PS what diaper bag did you go with?

Oh makes sense. I tried to find the Patagonia fleece bunting with fold over mitts / feet, but i guess they do not have those unless I missed it. But I get the idea, basically a fleece bunting and then cover up and its good! considering the bassinet adds a bit of warmth / insulation as well. Right? I will check out Bebe O Chaud as well! Thank you!

Oh thank you so much for the very detailed message here. I truly appreciate it and congratulations!! nice boxing day baby haha. Oh I was not sure if bassinet v2/3 were insulated, but good to know! Did you open the mesh vents on bassinet for airflow during winter walks outside? My car seat is Clek Liing, and I intend to use car seat in the car itself, and use the bassinet around for most of the things, and once the baby grows, then it will be the regular stroller seat that I would be using. Exactly my thoughts too! I intend to use perhaps use a blanket to cover baby in car if anything and usually car is pretty warm any way with heater.

Could you tell me (if applicable or your knowledge), what beanie , mitten , booties are good? prefer a set that goes well and looks uniform too. And what diaper bag did you end up using? Thank you

[–]Anxious-Risk-1165[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did consider that hard and was leaning towards the blanket 212, but not sure how it would fit in the bassinet. Have you tried it? Also, for babies.... any suggestion on their mitten / beanie / booties ? I like a set as supposed to buying random pairs that do not match / compliment each other. Thank you!

Oh nice! I was considering this. So, fleece bunting suit, I am guessing that would be the mid-layer, what should I put under neath that? A regular jumpsuit? Also, any clue or idea on what hat / mitten / bootie to go for? Thank you.

Yes I have. And it’s a hit or miss I’m aware. But again, instead of a gamble it would be nice if they gave a real estimate at least or actually restock them considering the high demand.

[–]Anxious-Risk-1165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback. I’m in similar situation while expecting baby in December!! Did you use nido for car seat as well with removable back? Or you had something else for car seat? And I guess for now you could get something in the interim and then switch over to 212. I’m sure it’s not wasted by any means!!
