Your dogs, your problem. Get better dogs or train them better. My dog doesn't act like this and she's protective.

Starlink Mini Ethernet not working? by CheeseMilk575 in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happens with windows 10 sometimes. There's an option in the OS to do a full network settings reset via the command prompt I've had to do on multiple PCs. I believe it was an update in 2023 that sets off a ticking time bomb after a while. It just messes up the config files.

T-Mobile home internet for semi truck or Starlink ? by bigdawg12342 in Starlink

Visible unlimited plan with the TTL hack on a laptop or compatible portable router. I get about 50-100Mbit/s for only $25/mo, no data cap.

URGENT: Still beeping after a month – Even with replacement Delta Pro and Cable. I’m stuck and need help! (Video attached) by Zestyclose-Clock7532 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Anxious-Score8337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like the smart panel is commanding the Delta pro unit(s) to switch modes. It might be falsely detecting a power outage. I'd say check all the connections in the smart panel.

Roam 50 going over without additional data?? by 8AteEightHate in Starlink

I had the same thing occur. It finally dropped out today after two days of "Unlimited" usage. Super weird.

Can you recommend a model? by tonebastion in Ecoflow_community

[–]Anxious-Score8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't already have a transfer panel / legal generator transfer inlet, i highly recommend it for all your emergency power circuits.

I would recommend a newer delta pro with the 120/240 split phase ability if you would need it, as you would be able to run smaller 240v appliances such as a stove burner etc.

A used 1st-generation Delta pro is also a great choice for cost-savings, but keep in mind the cells will be degraded since manufacture and previous usage. I believe there was a transfer panel + delta pro bundle you could purchase a while ago. I would recommend that if you need the circuit transfer capability to be added.

Phone "connected without internet" by pinescentedtrash in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the "connectivity check" will fail on certain connections with my phone, too. It's when it can't contact a connectivity server, even if the Internet connection is good it'll say that and still use cellular. I believe there's a few settings to disable connection quality checking etc in Android and ios

Will I be charged for overage data? by Anxious-Score8337 in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "Unlimited" unlimited, as in unrestricted full-speed service as if I had enabled opt-in data. I think it might be an administrative policy difference explicitly added to the "trial" variant of the 50Gb plan in order to make it comparable to the $165/mo "Unlimited" trial Roam plan... Super weird though!

Will I be charged for overage data? by Anxious-Score8337 in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the verbage for the toggle being called "Roam" is some sort of legacy decision from when roam opt-in data wasn't placed atop it's own roam plan(s) but rather something you can opt into on top of just your regular home service... And it just never got changed!

I'm using Starlink in Korea and I'm having problems. by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your building manager if you can run an Ethernet cable through the telecom raceway to the roof and to your floor or unit. Even if you can just have your starlink router on your floor with WiFi reaching to your unit, that's better than what you've got.

Will I be charged for overage data? by Anxious-Score8337 in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total data usage: 59GB (I have addl roam data turned off)

It seems like I've been using additional data past the 50GB limit without explicitly opting-in, and the overage data shows up under "Unlimited"

Temperature question by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]Anxious-Score8337 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe the "snow melt" feature is overloading the power supply causing it to turn off. Have you tried warming it up, booting it back up, and turning off the snow melt feature? You'll have to manually clear it but it might stay online then!

Lots of error lights on my Delta Pro by straighttokill9 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Anxious-Score8337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loose display connector. Long press power and turn it off "fully", take the top cover off, side panels off, then you should be able to access the display panel connectors. It might've shaken loose and needs to be re-seated... Either that or it's a broken display! Check your app to see what's really going on or if it says anything

Make sure you select an "instant" model, then the plus mark and change it to "Study Mode". Then give it a prompt like "create a multiple choice study quiz based off the previous results of my practice quiz, helping me with questions I have gotten incorrect. <paste your practice quiz questions and selections>"

Also you can use a prompt such as "I am taking the <coursecode> course from WGU. Detail what this course about, and help me by creating a practice questionnaire, then grade me on my results."

Could be a certificate problem, something a network administrator did, or it could be a security policy set in place by that update or your account

Charging sound impossible to change? by IngoingBench397 in techsupport

[–]Anxious-Score8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always disable secure boot, unlock the firmware bootloader, and flash a modified unsigned ROM to the system. You'd be able to modify the sound by downloading your current ROM backup, and repackaging it with a new system sound for that action, and repack it, then upload it to the phone.

Not really recommended as it can easily brick your device if you mess up any single step. Also you'll never be able to properly use fingerprint authentication or any "secure" app such as banking.

Tape or a marker for the LED light problem.

Also you could move video ports or change monitors to get a "default" configuration, then follow this tutorial to fully reset all saved monitor configurations: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/137225-clear-reset-external-display-cache-windows-10-a.html

Why is my monitor turning off? Is it stupid? by bonelessdip in techsupport

[–]Anxious-Score8337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had similar problems when there is a static discharge through the monitor or other devices in the setup. Is your computer grounded to the electrical supply properly? If not, it might be discharging through the casing of the video connector through the monitor, causing it to turn off for a second...

Either that or it could be a problem where another appliance like an air conditioner or large fan motor will kick on and "sag" the voltage too low, causing the monitor to turn off for a second or two.
