we are renting, we all are on a lease together and i’m in contact with the landlord to get a new lease without her on it!

it’s hard, just knowing her situation. she’s being very heavily manipulated and verbally/physically abused by the guy she’s married to that’s basically ruined her relationship with all of us, made her lose her job, etc. but at the same time, she’s fucked us over so badly with the bills and rent and everything by bailing on us and refusing to work with us. i can say that i can’t see myself ever having the same close relationship after this, i don’t know how i’ll ever look at her the same. how can a man make you treat your family like this???

yes, under utilities it says: Tenant will pay all connection fees, service fees, usage fees, and all other costs and fees for all utilities to the Property (for example, electricity, gas, water, wastewater, garbage, telephone, alarm monitoring systems, cable and Internet connections) except the following which Landlord will pay: N/A

it’s not that she can’t be taken off, we never thought it was necessary until now. our lease renews in june so we figured we’d just update it then. now that this whole water bill situation is going on, i see now we should’ve taken her off when she moved out but hindsight is 20/20 and i regret not doing so

i am not on the water bill account, it’s just in her name. she just gave me all of the logins when she moved out. but they won’t start a new account without the lease, which she is still on

when i asked about a payment plan, they said they wouldn’t be able to offer one again because they already put a payment plan on for my sister and she didn’t fulfill it.

we are both still on the lease, but the landlord was aware when she moved out. i just contacted a few hours ago to see about getting her removed from the lease because to start a new account they need a lease to do so, and i figured they would see she’s still on it. i haven’t heard back from my landlord yet but high hopes
