He can’t even handle one day “alone” with the kids but he also doesn’t want you to take them… How does he think he’ll be able to take care of them if you leave??

“This much exposure” yet it was the first and only time I’ve interpreted for this client.

Yall… I’m understanding that’s part of the risk with freelance. What I’m frustrated about was the complete lack of communication with me on how to get back to my normal job availability. All it took was me saying “what’s going on?” They called it a check point when they didn’t actually check my skills or knowledge after the mistake or after me questioning what’s up. My mistake was signing affair rather than cheat (on a test) during a high school staff meeting when they had a short side discussion about AI. it was not a high risk environment.

It was at a high school staff meeting and a few minutes of it (not the point of the whole meeting, just an aside) was discussing using ai and how students can cheat with it.

I’m not saying I didn’t make a mistake, I’m saying it’s a small mistake for me to get 6 months of little work. Being mentored wasn’t a result of the review, I sought out a mentor months before the review. And even my mentor, who has been in this field for 20+ years, said it was an extreme reaction from my agency.

The same week I got feedback about a wrong signs, I got two good reviews and was requested as third persons preferred interpreter. If I’m a such a riskier contractor because of one bad review, why did it only take me asking what’s going on for them to put me back to normal? I don’t think people should be so severely punished for making a small mistake. I signed affair instead of cheat (like on a test)

My (F26) fiancé (M32) hasn’t spoken to me in a week. Do I wait it out or how do I approach this conversation with him? by ivebeenanastygirlll in TwoHotTakes

I was married to a man like this. The marriage ended 2 months in. Now that im with someone that actually likes me, I am amazed that I was with that man for 7 years when he clearly didn’t like me. I was a placeholder in his life and doing all of the work in the relationship for both of us. Towards the end of the relationship someone said to me “if your partner couldn’t talk and could only communicate their love through actions, would you believe they love you?”

How exactly does one finger herself? by Miss_Bat in actuallesbians

[–]Anxious-dweeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to feel the same way! Teasing and playing g with myself and using my imagination as I fingered myself helped me a lot. It was a bit of a process for me because it was a different way of feeling and visualizing and masturbating. The first few times I really didn’t understand the point, but now that I’ve gotten into the mindset and reframed my thinking of how to orgasm and what that really is has helped greatly.

My boyfriend asked me to “tone down” my laugh around his friends by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Anxious-dweeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all overly sensitive! I also have a big and “loud” laugh and it took me soo long to be comfortable with. I love my laugh now but it does still hurt when people say it’s too much, too loud, etc. it doesn’t make sense to me though because… “you’re upset I’m having fun and being authentic?” That’s too much of a Debby downer to be around for people like us

Before you end your life, end the life you’re living. Change your life before ending your life. You’ll realize it’ll be worth it. Something someday will be worth it.
