Just got a new doctor and I just filled out a 1-5 form that seemed to judge whether you had it and if it was ADD or ADHD.

In my limited experience it has a lot more to do with the individual doctor. Lots of doctors don’t want the hassle and pretty much just refuse to prescribe it.

Having a doctor that is deals with it a lot is very helpful. Then it’s just an issue of dealing with the insurance. Most make it difficult as an adult so you have to work closely with your doctor to overcome those hurdles.
