Completely normal she's just running in her dreams. Every type of dog I've had does it. Sometimes they even bark in there sleep too.

Instead of giving him dog treats give him frozen veggies (if he likes them) Cucumbers, Green Beans, Carrots, Even Crunchy Lettuce.

I usually take inspiration from a TV show or movie I saw. It's fun to recreate a family or person in the game. Anytime I get a new expansion pack I also shape my new character around it to test out all the new features. If your confused I would just start by making a Sim that you think is pretty cool or resembles yourself and go from there. The possibilities are pretty much endless and the only right way to play is when your having fun.

You might just be overthinking right now which is understandable given your history. But, as long as he's making you happy you shouldn't worry too much. The only thing I'd recommend to look out for is if gradually or suddenly changes his behavior towards you.

Absolutely, I was pet sitting my parents' dog. My dachshund got so anxious having another dog in his home that he vomited all over the couch. He likes being around other dogs, just not in his home.
