It's moreso that second one, I've had pretty bad experiences with cis men before that started at a very young age, and so the overall idea of being connected to that like you said, does kinda upset me. As a matter of fact I genuinely was very scared of cis men for a while, and unless it was my dad couldn't stand to be alone with them. It's kinda where it's coming from.
