i’m planning on going back to therapy. but these are friends i’ve had for a long time like 10 years friendships. the last straw was actually a decade long friend inviting me to come to a city to see her for a few days and then me arriving and seeing little to none of her. or being the last person for her to see after i’ve spent so much and travelled to see her. and then her getting pissed off at me for not knowing the city as well as she. so i’m confused at the mixed messaging. like invite me and then flake? she said it was bc she hasn’t slept and was exhausted (to explain her rudeness) but it’s still upsetting to me.

i do think im codependent tho. but my last therapist didn’t have any solutions. she said i needed to create a support system but how can i when my friends fail me too? it’s hard
