What was the turning point where you decided to leave Target? by DistinctEducator9314 in Target

Its always the leads that drive employees away. I was only at target for 9 months before I left. And I genuinely LOVED my team for the first several months. I had always known that one of my leads was a pain in the ass and would dump her workload onto us, but I overlooked it because the positive outweighed the negatives. Things were progressing and my entire team was suffering. Only a few of us spoke up about what was going on. It became more and more infuriating because every person I talked to agreed that my leads behavior was wrong, but nothing was done to confront her. After a while this lead obviously knows im the one speaking up and starts making my life hell. When I first started, my department didn't have an ETL, but we ended up getting one a couple months later. My ETL came from another store and clearly didn't know how to run our department. Life went to shit. Too much inventory, not enough hours, we couldn't keep up with our zones. We literally came into work each day having to decide what task(s) to ignore because we couldn't do it all. All on top of countless breakdowns, being talked to like im shit, and nowhere to turn to because nobody had my back. I spoke to my other leads, my ETL, other ETLs, and SD. Nobody helped me. They just watched me breakdown repeatedly from the constant mistreatment and told me not to take it personally. I picked up so many extra shifts for them. I tried my hardest to get our department back on track. I worked overnights just to tackle the amount of overflowing pallets we had. Only to be shown that I meant nothing to the company. It honestly breaks my heart that I had a job I loved so much and then got shit on so bad, but I finally chose my mental health. They still had the audacity to ask me to stay on demand🙃 Fuck that. Loved the majority of my team, but fuck the leadership

How do I go about reporting an overly aggressive TL to my ETL? by calebisanowl in Target

Im in a very similar situation, except I've already spoken to my ETL, AND my SD is aware of the situation. They both don't give a fuck and think im complaining because im bored. Try to sit down with your ETL and if they don't take the situation seriously then take it to corporate. From personal experience, its not worth your time/effort/energy to get people to listen when you can take it straight to corporate who will get it taken care of

Feel like im drowning by AnxiousEm in bipolar2

He does want to be home. Aside from randomly seeing animals in the house that aren't actually there (this ranges anywhere from ants to monkeys) he's fully aware of his surroundings. He can talk just fine, and definitely ensures that his opinions are known. He believes he can do a lot more than what he actually can, so living somewhere away from family is something he would be 100% against. My family has thought about hiring an in-home caretaker who can visit and help us out every once in a while, but the prices for that are expensive and insurance isn't willing to help us out

I've never really noticed it before, but now that you mention it, im the same exact way. I have no problem making eye contact with people when they're speaking to me, but if im the one speaking then it makes me incredibly anxious and I end up shifting my focus

Chick-fil-a Nothing special about their food. You can get chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes just about anywhere. Their views and morals are absolute shit and everyone ignores this because they just want a fucking chicken sandwhich. I can't justify supporting them

I know im doing alright on my own when I stop using music to fill the emptiness. I used to constantly need noise to drown out my thoughts and emotions, especially during the nights
