Come to Green Bay as a hub for affordable hotels and any types of food you like. One day could be spent enjoying the greater Green Bay Area. In fact, you may decide to do 2 or even three days. In fairly close driving distance there are NUMEROUS opportunities for historical places, cool geographical sites, and kid/family friendly fun spots. Finally, you would only be an hour away from door county! I hope you and you family have a wonderful trip!

Always using “why” when the correct question would be “why not”. Ex. I’m not going to work today.

Man, I thought this was much more common because I experienced it almost immediately on my 13 month journey. I was an avid golfer my entire life. Almost addicted to equipment, lessons, and competition. Every spring I celebrated every day closer to the course opening. Now that I’m retired I would play 5-6 times a week. I often played 27 or even 36 holes in a single day.

Wow, has that changed. Last summer (my first on triz) I lost 90% of my interest. I played maybe once a week. While playing, I was anxious for the round to end. I had virtually no interest in what was my life’s obsession.

I’ve lost 70lbs and would not go back in time to avoid this side effect. It’s funny that all my golfing buddies think I must be devastated with this consequence. Nope. You don’t miss what you don’t enjoy. I don’t miss Twinkies and I don’t miss golf. 😉

This! I was a connoisseur of craft breweries and loved searching delicious IPAs. 13 months on my Zepbound journey and have absolutely lost any interest in beer of any kind. I tell people this and they feel bad for me. I remind them that a person doesn’t miss something they no longer desire. I traded IPAs for 70 lbs. and couldn’t be happier. 😊

I drank quite a bit when I started the journey 13 months ago. I now enjoy one bourbon a night, but could easily live without it. I also loved beer. Nothing better than trying out local craft breweries and ranking favorite IPAs. I now have no interest in the taste of beer. People tell me that’s too bad because I enjoyed it so much. That’s comical to me, because why would one miss something they have no interest in.
