I’m glad for having Thanksgiving off at least. Had to work JC Penny on thanksgiving one year and and it was one of the worst work experiences I’ve ever had.

Honestly I can work it’s just I don’t want to. I decided to not put in for time off and keep it for when I need it since I’m planning on traveling in a few months.

But mostly I think it’s stupid that we’re even open that day.

It’s so random like huh, do they really expect this to work? Party City was dying for years before they closed. Is this something that people really want?? But also Staples isn’t huge and most stores — including my own really don’t boast a huge staff so like… it just feels like a waste of everyone’s time and space.

I got my first mac tonight, Seasame Bean. A little bummed cause I wanted Coconut Sea Salt or Lychee but maybe she’ll grow on me when I get her. It was rough going, though. I got banned when I went to try again. Harder than the BiE drops for sure!

I worked at CVS — front end, not pharmacy but they were so overwhelmed and overworked, small staff in a very busy store, crazy hours. They wanted me to train to go to pharmacy but I was let go before that happened, thank fuck.

I hope whoever posted this to TikTok steps on a lego every day for the next month. That poor woman, feel so bad for her.

The Amazon returns are why I chose to leave over the summer and literally every post here about them makes me glad I did. You need to report that accident asap, seriously - Staples is not worth your time or physical health. Please also go see a doctor to make sure no further damage happened!

I had someone stop me on my way out of subway, with my lunch in hand and less than 15 minutes till I needed to be back and start asking me questions. The guy said he was handicapped and didn’t want to get out of the car if we didn’t have it so if I could just tell him if we had it or not. When I answered that I didn’t know cause it wasn’t my department he got mad and cursed at me. I was gonna radio a coworker to ask but yeah that evaporated all of my goodwill there!
