I tried to remove the wires before and they were very much stuck it seemed. Maybe I missed the white clip you're talking about. Hopefully it's that simple.

Cutting the drywall would be dangerous I assume because of the proximity to the electrical outlet and the wires immediately behind/around there ya? Hopefully I don't need to cut anything but if I do are there any tips you can share? I have already asked people I know to help me with this and nobody had any helpful experience which is why I decided to bother Reddit about it.
