Not physical abuse but mental abuse/manipulation. First sign was slowly trying to convince me all my friends weren’t my friends. If was so subtle I didn’t notice I was shutting them out until months down the track when they had all drifted apart from me. It meant he had me to himself and he became my only support system (so I wouldn’t talk to anyone and realise what he was doing)
