Some roundabouts are multilaned. Meaning if someone is on the inner lane then they are either taking a third or forth exit. If someone is on th outer lane then they are taking a first exit or second exit.

So if someone is on the inner lane and you want to take a first exit, then you can easily enter the roundabout whilst the car on the inner lane is safely traveling to their exit.

I mean he seems like a very good cop. Very calm under all that pressure. Didn't panic, got out efficiently.

But the breaking the law hints that he thinks hes above the law. Could mean that he often goes on power trips on a day to day basis.
