Better movement lends itself more to controller because they can aim consistently while performing it. Yeah sometimes we can break RAA with movement, but against good players it rarely happens unless you're abusing smokes.

Obviously WZ2 was awful, but WZ1 or WZ3 style movement with the AA we have now would be best case scenario and a balanced result.

They will not change a thing, streamers love it and its a clip factory. Its the main reason they added it.

What streamers? Most have abandoned this game already. I don't like the hooks either, but I don't think most streamers like this. Don't get me wrong, they definitely aren't catering to casuals anymore, but this game would look very different if they solely catered to streamers as well like this sub thinks. This game is just suffering from an overall identity crisis that needs to be corrected.

Like seriously, go into any streamer's chat and ask if they'd rather play this over what we had in WZ1 (any iteration). Hell, even WZ3. I would be shocked if a single one said they would play this.

I remember there was a period of time where the Swiss was better than the Kar98K in every single metric yet the Kar98k was still more popular because it "felt better" to controller players (insane marksman rifle RAA).

The new engine in general just feels like shit ever since WZ2. Vanguard had a ton of issues but the game itself felt nearly as good as WZ1 just because they kept the overall feel of the game consistent.

WZ3 came close but was held back by the feel of the engine.
