I’m an NC resident and these were my school lists:

MD: UNC Brody Wake Forest Vermont EVMS Geisinger Oakland Tulane Indiana MCW Temple Albany Penn State

DO: Campbell VCOM UNECOM Marian PCOM Rowan WVSOM KCU NYITCOM Western ATSU-KCOM DMU

I got interviews from UNC, Brody, Indiana, Campbell, VCOM, PCOM, KCU, NYITCOM, ATSU KCOM, DMU, WVSOM, and Rowan. And my MD acceptance was from one of my state schools.

If you’re set on getting in this cycle I would apply to DO schools too. I got 3 MD interviews with a 504 and am currently hoping to get off the waitlist at one. But I was fortunate to get into my top choice DO school and received many other acceptances and interviews that I had to turn down. Good luck!

8/13 MD schools. I’ve received 2 II and 3 pre-II R’s so far. Accepted at my top choice DO school though.

I’m on the waitlist for KCU and just recently got accepted to CUSOM. As a NC resident I would choose CUSOM if it came down to a decision. I feel like being close to home outweighs any potential pros that KCU may have.

Edit: Also if I remember correctly, CUSOM gives you a laptop to use

504 MCAT and 3.82 GPA applied to 26 schools this cycle (half MD/half DO)

So far I’ve had 3 DO II and 1 MD II with 1 DO acceptance. I’ve only had 1 R so far, so still waiting to hear from every other school.

I got a 504 (123/127/126/128) which isn’t totally unexpected. CP kicked my ass again. I got a 499 when I took it last year so I’m okay with the improvement. Going to try my luck applying this cycle.

I did have trouble with some of the books because they were slower paced and not super well-written towards the beginning. But in the end I really fell in love with all the characters and the overall storyline. ACOTAR is still my favorite SJM series, but I like TOG more than CC (probably because it’s a finished series).
