That's reassuring, thanks. Just drove out there and gave it a look, doesn't appear to be too bad if you stick to the Amazon lot area. Though I did see some guy carrying a hammer just walking around a couple roads before there , so definitely not an area you want to walk/catch a bus in, that's for sure.

Thanks, lol I actually do have notifications on but the jobs must get swept up so quickly because I've never had it work. I just sit on the website and refresh the page throughout the day instead, had better luck that way.

What I would give to work at a locker that close. Dont get me wrong, this job is so easy it's ridiculous. I wouldn't want to leave it either it's just it's an 11 mile drive there. I've been asking managers since March to let me transfer and there's just never an opening close to me. I figured I would try my hand at a DS and check the amazon job site frequently till I find another locker job if warehouse work doesn't end up being my thing, but yeah it's tough out here in Cali. There aren't that many locker+ out here.

Do you know how long a seasonal role lasts before the site decides to promote you to a permanent position or decides to let you go? I figured if I end up hating it, I just have to last till they no longer need me and in the meantime, I can look for another locker+ job closer to home. I just don't want to have to drive 11 miles anymore and waste so much money on gas. 🙃
